Flipboard Personal Magazines … Flop ?

Personal Magazines at Flipboard are really quite cool - BUT - what is truly interesting is how they are absolutely rejecting the idea of any web presence - or even EMail push …. you gotta to go get their app to experience.

So - two thoughts

They havent yet got round to thinking about the web - or never will because that is not where they see the future … or
The have no intention of doing that - because they have some deep nefarious reason for keeping you in their walled garden.

The jury is out.
