Back in the day I used to get truly annoyed by the fact that HR people had no understanding of the business a company was in. Likewise MarCom people who felt they could make a living by knowing how something got printed - not by how they TRULY messaged the story in the copy across all the vehicles. Accountants that new how to add up - but couldnβt recognize a database if it jumped out and attacked them.

These kind of sobering stats led me to ask the question: are marketers becoming digital dinosaurs? Is there a correlation between the low number of marketers who are digital and the low number of marketers who do digital?
